Correction to the Employee Retirement System of Texas (ERS) Specialty Drug List
On 4/18/2018, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) determined there was one specialty drug code that was listed incorrectly on the ERS Specialty Drug Prior Authorization List. A corrected list has been posted to the BCBSTX provider website under Clinical Resources then select Preauthorizations/Notifications/Referral Requirements. This drug list applies to HealthSelectSM of Texas, Consumer Directed HealthSelectSM of Texas, HealthSelectSM of Texas Out-Of-State and Consumer Directed HealthSelectSM of Texas Out-Of-State participants.
Although the HCPCS code for the drug and brand name were correctly listed, the product name was not. The following drug has been corrected to reflect the correct product name:
- BOTOX (onabotulinumtoxinA) - J0585
